It is fitting that we had this final debate on the day the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the latest unemployment numbers. Today's jobs report was, once again, dismal. I think we'll keep seeing high unemployment numbers above 8% and weak growth until we start rolling back job-killing regulations, repealing ObamaCare and enacting the pro-growth policies that will give business owners the confidence to hire new workers.
I'm proud to have participated in another debate with my opponents, and I'm glad we had the opportunity to discuss the critical issues driving this primary. While we certainly have our differences in terms of policy, we all agree that Senator McCaskill is helping President Obama drive our economy into a ditch and make us weaker as a nation, not stronger. I believe we would all agree that we can't afford another 4 years of President Obama, and we certainly don't want Senator McCaskill around advancing a destructive liberal agenda any longer.
