STRONG and STRATEGIC AMERICA

Our goal is to return America to its rightful place as the beacon of the free world:  Too strong to be tread upon, too wise to be caught off guard, too aware of our blessings to let them slip away.

Two Guiding Principles:

1.  Overwhelming Force

The doctrine of overwhelming force dates back to that flag that spoke so clearly, "Don't tread on me" -- America seeks peace and tries to keep the peace through all available means.   However, we keep peace by remaining strong and vigilant.  And if our nation's security is at risk and non-military means have failed, we should strike with all deliberation and force, with only one goal -- total victory.

A)  A return of national investment and focus to peace thru strength.
B)  A powerful military striving for next generation weaponry.
C)  Smart development and deployment including larger navy and fewer overseas bases.
D)  Preventive force including missile defense.
E)  Pursuit of non-military means of achieving foreign policy objectives (diplomacy, sanctions, and covert operations) but if those means fail, we deploy overwhelming force for swift and sure victory.
F)  Overwhelming force means we bring all strategically available weaponry, troops, and support to bear, directed at the swiftest and surest plan for victory with the least amount of loss of American life.
G)  Those standing for freedom and against terrorism are our allies, and we stand resolutely with our allies and decidedly against our enemies.
H)  We do not negotiate with or grovel to terrorists or terrorist nations.
I)  Use economic warfare and sanctions to cut off money and resources finding its way to terrorists and terrorist sponsoring states.
J)  Achieve energy independence.
K)  Strong homeland security -- including physical, biological, and cyber security.

If it is necessary, use overwhelming and

2.  Strategic Force.

A)  Before conflict is engaged, it is determined to be last option.
B)  Before conflict is engaged, a strategic plan is developed which identifies mission, purpose, strategy, clear understanding of mission victory, and commitment to using overwhelming power to achieve the victory and end the mission.
C)  New requirement that President involving us in any conflict must provide mission plan (in accordance with B) within 30 days or funding not allowed.
D)  No intervention in the internal affairs of other countries unless a national security interest of the United States is at risk.  No more lengthy military engagements without strategic purpose and objectives -- no more loss of our sons and daughters in the name of nation building.
