The Second Amendment
The Constitution could not be clearer. The right of law abiding citizens to bear arms is as fundamental a freedom as that of religion, speech, or press. In the Senate, I will oppose any efforts to restrict the right of citizens to own, possess, and carry a firearm. I will oppose any efforts to force the registration of firearms or any other policies that unduly burden the lawful purchase or possession of guns.
